Nintendo Updates Switch Performance and Launches Special OLED Bundle

Nintendo has introduced a significant update to the Nintendo Switch, aiming to resolve several user-reported issues and enhance the overall performance and experience.

The update, labeled version 19.0.1, brings general stability improvements while specifically addressing connectivity issues related to the GameCube Controller Adapter and GameCube Controllers.

Additionally, the update fixes network-related issues, ensuring seamless software downloads even when the Switch is in power-saving mode. To apply these enhancements, users simply need to access their system settings to initiate the update.

In other Nintendo news, a new OLED bundle exclusively available in Europe has been released, priced at £309.99. The package includes a stylish white OLED Switch console, an electronic copy of Super Mario Bros. Wonder,  and a twelve-month subscription Nintendo Switch Online.

While there’s been no official word on the Nintendo Switch 2, industry rumors suggest an announcement could come before the close of 2024, with a possible launch in 2025. Speculation around the next console has been heating up, especially with recent online leaks hinting at the new design. Out of twelve images that circulated, ten were 3D model renders, hinting at a thicker build, a larger display, and an upgraded kickstand design similar to the OLED model, giving fans a glimpse of what might be on the horizon.
